About Olori
Kemishia Minta, better known as Olori, is a motherhood and lifestyle blogger whose goal is to help women achieve their purpose. Olori accomplishes this goal by cultivating safe spaces for women to gather and build community.

Olori's interest in community started at a young age. As an American-born child of a Nigerian mom and Trinidadian father, she saw the need for diversity and culture, especially in the black space. Later on, as a young adult, she faced an interesting hardship many women can relate to - almost marrying the wrong man. Her experience calling off her wedding and not being supported by the women around her exposed a need for community and oneness between women. Fueled by
her desire to connect with others, she curated a book called "Story for the Gods" which is a collection of stories from different women around the world. As she traveled to different cities for the book launch, she met many women who shared her desire for community.
After realizing that many women needed connection, Olori created Social Tea, a social networking community for women. The vision for Social Tea is to win together, whether that means helping a woman through a hard divorce, childbirth, or the journey to entrepreneurship. Social Tea isn’t about one black woman who decided to choose herself, it’s about every woman choosing herself! Social Tea is currently available in over 20 cities.

In her spare time, Olori enjoys spending time with her husband and children, cooking, decorating her home, and traveling..
